Khazar or Al Arsiya Helmet Ver.2:

\n(Historically, this helmet style is linked to the Khazar Khaganate and Al-Arsiyah, military elites of the Eurasian steppe from the 9th to the 10th centuries. It has segmented construction, a nasal guard and a mail aventail for protection.) \n \nThe Khazar or Al-Arsiya Spangenhelm – Version II is a replica of one of the unique helmets worn by the cavalry troops of the Khazar Khaganate and the Turkic mercenaries known as Al-Arsiyah in the 9th and 10th centuries. Excavations and drawings from the time show similar shapes with segmented conical crowns connected by metal bands. These shapes are very strong and flexible making them perfect for steppe warfare and early medieval frontier combat. \n \nArmor Arena stays true to this old design while making sure that today's reenactors and performers are comfortable and their gear lasts. Each helmet is made by hand from mild steel and comes in 14, 16, 18 and 20 gauge. You can also get it in 18 gauge stainless steel for extra corrosion resistance and a smoother surface. There are two finishes to choose from: Dull Finish, which gives the item a weathered look like it has been on the battlefield for a long time and Mirror Finish, which is for ceremonial or display purposes. \n \nThe inside of the helmet has soft foam padding that lasts a long time and a leather chin strap with a steel buckle that keeps it on securely while you move or ride. It works for a lot of different people, like LARP fans, SCA members, reenactment groups, film studios and theater costume designers. \n \nEach piece shows off Armor Arena's high-quality craftsmanship, historical accuracy and lowest-price guarantee, making museum-quality armor available to both hobbyists and professionals. \n \nKEY FEATURES: \n
